Frankie B Jeans

August 15, 2007

Jeans are a present-day icon of style. They are universal in their purpose and transcend all racial, ethnic and social barriers. Although America is by far the largest country to consider jeans a vital part of a nationwide culture, other countries are fast approaching the same positive attitude towards jeans. Frankie B Jeans is a respected member of the American jeans culture, and has stood the test of time.

While jeans and denim are synonymous with American culture, they did not originate in America. Instead, they were born in France, the fashion capital of the world. And although the American cowboy was the first to reveal the rugged utility of the jeans, Frankie B Jeans has transferred that rough-and-tumble look into a symbol of high society. Frankie B. Jeans came into its own because of pioneer designer Daniella Clarke. As a teenager, she conceptualized low-rise jeans, the style of jeans that finds them just hanging on your hips. She even went so far as to cut the waistband from her own jeans to create a low-rise style. Eventually, she found a way to create and produce these jeans, which she baptized with the name “Frankie,” after her daughter. Frankie B Jeans were officially born. Frankie B Jeans emulates the “rock hippie” style of the late sixties and early seventies.

Although Frankie B jeans are best known for their styles and cuts, comfort has not taken a back seat. Frankie B Jeans are constructed to reflect the sexy, confident, strong image of today’s woman—and today’s woman demands comfort.

The range of Frankie B Jeans is replete with style and options. Nevertheless, what creates real profits for Frankie B Jeans is the pure sex appeal—perhaps more than any other style of jeans, both men and women will scour the stores for Frankie B Jeans; women buy because they love the style, comfort and look of Frankie B Jeans. Men buy so that they can see their loved one in these sexy jeans.

Perhaps expectedly, Frankie B Jeans has recently come out with a children’s line, titled Frankie B Kids. Included in this new line are F pocket jeans, along with fun styles with embroidered back pockets. Moms and daughters have never been so stylish together!

Frankie B Jeans has now been joined by other accessories. Included along with the Frankie B Jeans line are Frankie B eyewear, knitwear and menswear. Who would have known that Frankie B Jeans would go from being designed in a garage to being designed and marketed around the world.

The Internet is the easiest place to buy Frankie B Jeans, either through the Frankie B Jeans website or Kultic.com. Some people, however, will still look on e-bay for the cheapest Frankie B Jeans. Sadly, many, if not most, of the Frankie B Jeans on E-bay are fakes. How can you tell if the pair you’re looking at is a fake? First, a seller who has many of the same pair of Frankie B Jeans is likely selling fakes. Frankie B Jeans have only a few licensed re-sellers. Second, the Frankie B logo will be straight, and it will show on buttons and other hardware as well as one or more of the pockets.

True Religion Jeans – a Designer Brand That Can Satisfy All of your Desires

August 14, 2007

True Religion Jeans offers the greatest variety of jeans possible. In addition, it has added a few never-before-on-jeans additions, i.e. embroidery, forward seams and hand-sanded vintage washes. The obsession with details from True Religion jeans has made it possible for them to roll out pair after pair of uniquely perfected jeans. This could be the reason that True Religion Jeans are so highly preferred among the celebrities in America and overseas.

True Religion jeans are for those people who are extremely finicky about details, particularly in what they wear. These jeans re-define perfection. Hence, those who remain unsatisfied with other leading brands for the discrepancies found in their fitting, comfort, and style, should try True Religion jeans.

True Religion jeans are guaranteed flawless. While this sounds hard to believe, it remains the standard throughout the True Religion jeans company to make the perfect pair of jeans. They have done something right, for they are well-recognized in stores all across the country as being fit for the perfectionist.

True Religion jeans have one great advantage above other existing designer jeans brands: they come in a great variety of styles and material. You can buy True Religion jeans in corduroy, twill, denim or velvet. Each of the materials used is the best sample in the market. Some would even say that when they wear their True Religion jeans they feel like they’re in heaven.

On top of being able to choose your favorite kind of material, you also get a lot of styles of each material to choose from. You can always check out which style of True Religion jeans suits your body type and life style from:

1. Boot cut: this style is easy-going and very simple in looks as well. It has a straight fit on the leg and a slight flaring at the bottom. This type of True Religion jeans is best for those who have a full body. The cut projects longer legs, and hence, reduces the visibility of heavy thighs.

2. Straight leg: this is one of the common styles among jeans brands. However, True Religion jeans have brought a slight tapering to the common style, which makes it much more appealing and flattering to all body types.

3. Stretch: as the name indicates, these True Religion jeans are made of material that stretches. The stretch material is usually meant to give an instant lift to the body and project a tight, well-defined physique. Some popular styles of stretch jeans offered through the True Religion jeans line are:

· High-waist True Religion jeans: these sit on your natural waistline. They are made for those who do not relish the thought of having everybody see their underwear every time they bend or sit. They are elegant without being loud.
· Low rise jeans: these True Religion jeans hug you tight from about one-and-half inches below your navel. This is quite flattering for those who have good abdominal definition.

Designer Fashion – Back to the Future

August 13, 2007

Designer Fashion Back to the Future
Everybody who’s anybody in the fashion industry has been talking about the overwhelming interest in retro styles this year. This fall, we can expect to see many trends from previous decades come back into style, with a vengeance. For some reason, (this year especially) consumers have shown more interest in past styles than they do for new, innovative styles created by the designers themselves.
For the most part, the popular styles expected for fall are synonymous with those of the 1970’s and 1980’s. There are mixed opinions regarding the recent interest in these styles; some people love the retro look and others detest it. For those of you who are unaware of the styles I’m referring to, take a look below:

  1. Skinny Jeans Skinny jeans, you know the ones your mom still loves to wear the ones you’ve been begging her for the past 10 years to get rid of? Well, they’re officially back in style. The tighter the bottom, the better the look and they can be paired with just about anything. Long shirts that fall just below the bottom of your behind seem to be the ideal match to skinny jeans. Likewise, celebrities like Sienna Miller and Jessica Alba have shown significant interest in the skinny jeans with knee-high boots overtop look, which consumers have grown to love as well.
  2. Headbands, Bandanas and Other Retro Accessories Thick headbands, patterned bandanas and knee-high socks are the accessories of the fall. Think Jackie O and Audrey Hepburn if you’re having a hard time envisioning the trend. Or, for those of you who can better relate to today’s celebrities, think Nicole Richie and Jessica Simpson. Headbands are far more popular than most of the other accessories and could become the single biggest trend of the year.
  3. Leggings One trend I never thought would come back into style is leggings, but clearly I was wrong. Legging, also known as tights or spandex, have re-appeared on the fashion scene and have become focal points in many of the designer collections this year. Originally, leggings were worn under skirts, capris and even shorts but Hollywood has made of trend of wearing leggings on their own. Lindsay Lohan and Mary-Kate Olsen are prime examples of celebrities who have participated in this trend.

I think it’s safe to say that some trends will never go out of style. They may disappear for a short period of time, but they’ll be back eventually. So don’t throw away your tasseled t-shirt and bell-bottom pants by 2015, you’ll be wishing you kept them.

Make a Denim Pouch Pocket

August 12, 2007

Reduce, reuse, recycle, this is a great motto for crafters too!. Try using old denim jeans for your projects, and make some useable crafts. This pocket is very simple and yet useful to make.

Cut out the back pocket of a old pair of clean jeans, making sure to cut right through the seat of the jeans, so that you form a pocket within a pocket. (another words, don’t just pick the pocket off the jeans, you need a backing to create the pocket).

If you would like your pouch pocket to have a fringe, then leave a 4 inch piece of denim fabric attached to the bottom of the pocket. Cut the fringe 1/4″ wide strips up to the pocket, then wash your pocket, it will trigger the fraying.

Cut a piece of inseam from the jeans, or use decorative cording, and attach to the back of the pocket, this is your hanger. Hang the denim pouch pocket on the wall securely and you have a great storage pouch!,

This is great for beanie babies, small toys, stuffies, anything you can think of!. This is a great gift for a young teen, as they can decorate it themselves. Try using fabric paints, beads, more fabric, appliqué, there is all kinds of ways you can decorate your denim pocket.

Try making a few, and hang them together on a wall, back of a door, anywhere, when together it has a great effect on the wall. If you sell crafts for a business, try adding these to your craft show.. you will be amazed how well they sell, plus they are flat and easy to pack for a show. For an example, check out a page of my website http://www.make-crafts-for-cash.com/pouchpocket.html.

Denim can be used for many projects, and its a great way to recycle.

True Religion Jeans

August 11, 2007

Changing lifestyles and a more discerning customer base has created a frenzy in the fashion market – what was but a solid and predictable market with limited needs and even more limited options has witnessed a virtual explosion in fashion statements and options alike.

True Religion Jeans have created more than a mere flutter in the market. Began in 2002 by husband and wife designing team Jeffrey and Kym Lubell, True Religion jeans have exploded on the denim market. Already, they have been featured in such publications as Vogue, The New York Times, and Rolling Stones magazine. If their tempo is maintained it is inevitable that True Religion Jeans will dominate this growing market in the years to come!

True Religion Jeans don’t cater to just the rich and famous, although many Hollywood stars have found a favorite True Religion pair of jeans. On the contrary, True Religion jeans are popular among customers of all ages and incomes. They can be found in Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. Alternatively, those who don’t live anywhere near a large city and still want to buy True Religion jeans can go online to shop.

True Religion Jeans are true American jeans. As such, they cater to a wide range of people. True Religion jeans exhibit a variety of fits, including boot cut, flair, straight, skinny and relaxed. They have jeans for men, women and children, with their main function being utility. True Religion jeans shine in any kind of activity, formal or informal. Unlike other brands, not all True Religion jeans are narrow at the hips and thighs, so even those who are not supermodels can fit into these jeans. In addition, True Religion jeans are great for people who love to carry things around with them; oversized pockets are strategically placed for comfort and style.

Those who want can shop for True Religion jeans online through TrueReligionbrandjeans.com. You can shop by fit, size, gender or style. True Religion jeans styles are given names; among the ten different styles are Billy, Logan, Johnny, and Micky. Each style is unique, and yet each must meet a strict set of quality standards before being called True Religion jeans. Some would call their styles conservative, although the definition is certainly subjective. True Religion has a more family-oriented style than other high-end denim companies.

True Religion jeans are a true global phenomenon. While their main customer base is in the U.S., they have stores all over the world, including places in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Italy, Russia, Japan and France. It seems everyone knows the value and quality of True Religion jeans. True Religion jeans are the number one high-end denim offering in Japan, although a warmer overall year in Europe led to a few disappointing months in sales volume.

Although the sale of denim jeans has brought True Religion jeans to the forefront, the company also sells outerwear and shaded corduroy pants. Customers can choose corduroys in such shades as fuchsia, gray, turquoise or green apple. In reality, True Religion has something for everybody, including rough-and-tumble means for the kids, a sturdy fashion statement for men and women, and trendy jeans and skirts for the fashion-gifted. With their need for perfection, True Religion jeans is still moving its way up on sales charts around the world.

Hudson Jeans

July 18, 2007

Fashion is not just a statement; it is a window into the soul of those who wear that fashion. Hudson Jeans grew and expanded quickly in popularity, its customer base of predominantly teenagers growing exponentially. What stimulated the growth of the Hudson jeans brand? The same thing that teens have been reacting to for generations: a healthy presence of peer pressure and a value-adding style which few could replicate.

The casual utility jeans went on to transform into a high-end glamorous designer jeans-wear. Predictably, Hudson Jeans have come of age. In fact, some celebrities will not be seen without a few pairs of Hudson Jeans in their closets. As if often the case with fashions, celebrities have helped Hudson Jeans on their way to success through projecting a glamorous and often-envied personal life.

Hudson Jeans address the needs of both the formal and the casual wearer. In fact, the brand can be worn equally by both sets of people with no conflict. Those who need to dress formal in their Hudson Jeans only need a nice jacket or blouse, while those who want the casual look can dig out a wrinkled t-shirt from their closet.

The Blend

Hudson Jeans has undergone a subtle shift in styling and tailoring with the present day collection being an imperceptible blend of the esthetic with the trendy. This unique coupling gives it an appeal which few can resist – hence the near complete market domination by the inimitable Hudson Jeans collection!

The source of Hudson Jeans quality comes in the way of pride and consistency. Hudson Jeans are produced and manufactured in countries like Japan and Italy, countries which have always been known for the quality and pride they infuse in their products. The detailing adds to this quality. Through double-seam stitching and the addition of designer rivet buttons, Hudson Jeans transform even the most mundane cuts into high-quality jeans that appeal to a person’s sense of style and aesthetics. The color choice for Hudson Jeans is extensive and adds to the jeans’ appeal. Ranging from the easy shadowy grays and blacks to the aggressive reds (and everywhere in between), Hudson Jeans has a color for everyone.

The future challenge of Hudson Jeans is to continue to appeal to its main demographic (the teen) while reaching out to adults in search of a subtler, more down-to-earth style. With such a heterogeneous mixture of potential clients, the powers behind Hudson Jeans have their work cut out for them as they try to address each customer’s wishes with an open mind.

As for the customers, the future will continue to be about choice. Choosing the right pair of Hudson Jeans is a process not to be attempted by someone without some pre-cognitive idea of what he or she is looking for. The popularity of the brand, along with its immense variety of styles, colors and designs, make it almost impossible for shoppers to sift through a rank of Hudson Jeans and go home with just one!

Why are Ethical Jeans Sweat Shop Friendly?

July 15, 2007

All the garments we produce have a conscience swing tag stating that everyone involved in the garment has been paid a decent living wage. The very fact that we make an issue of this is peculiar. When I first started the company 19 years ago it was something you took for granted; people who worked for you or with you got paid a fair wage. Now the company stands as the exception. It would be great if it stood as the example.

My most disturbing experience of was a visit to a factory in Bolton. Whilst I was being shown round the factory a woman pulled out a large drawer-like container from under the cutting table. In the whole of a factory making cotton goods this is the most dust-ridden area -and in the drawer was her infant child. It seems incomprehensible to have witnessed such a scene in England in the early nineties. Apparently old Victorian mills still manage to maintain old Victorian standards.

Our company produces ROAD and GO Vicinity ranges for men and women and has recently introduced a range for youths, Phat Rhythms. The clothes are individual in design with a definite feeling of rhythm. There is no compromise with regard to fit, function or quality of cloth -our quality is our hallmark.

The company has survived through floods, factory bankruptcy and more ups and downs than the hearts needs! But we have created a healthy export business and built a local work force in a rural area, while proving it is possible to build up a business without cheap labour as either an economic choice or the even more suspect excuse well if they did not have this they would have nothing at all?.

We operate through small factories and an independent shop network throughout the UK and Ireland and are now the most successful jean and casual bottom company on the independent circuit. By turning down all offers from the major High Street stores we have maintained our credibility. With this success we have been able to engage in ventures outside our day-to-day activities.

Through the fantastic people who run the ‘Free Tibet’ campaign we funded the building of a small school in the mountains of Tibet. We also organised a music festival in the Peak District where our business is based, to help local people hot by the effects of foot and mouth disease. We are now looking to open a centre in Derby for people off the bottom rung to encourage them in whatever field be it plumbing, computers, art. It’ll be on a one-to-one basis – just like people who can afford it get tutors to help their own teenagers. We already have promises of money as soon as we get the right team together.

Our company is not against producing anywhere as long as fair wages and conditions for people old enough to be in employment are adhered to. The Fair Trade Organisation already has enough on its plate dealing with root causes. I’m sure it would not be difficult for more information to be necessary when importing goods. Children making children’s clothes is not such a quaint idea.

A Man, Joe’s Jeans, and a Cement Truck

July 14, 2007

A Man, Joe’s Jeans, and a Cement Truck

A man walks down the street. He is a well-dressed man with stylish clothing. He looks good, and he knows it. The only thing that could possibly be misconstrued as casual are the jeans that he’s wearing, yet these are Joe’s Jeans. They are made to be stylish, accentuate the positives, eliminate the negatives, and give one an overall sense of well-being and tranquility.

“Yes,” the man thinks. “This pair of Joe’s Jeans will serve me well. They may not be as stylish as Miss Sixty jeans or as well-known as D&G Jeans, but these and the seven jeans that I have back at home are sure to do me right for a long time.”

Suddenly, 3 monkeys, a poodle, & a Chihuahua ran by, being chased down by a maniac in a bulldozer. The man jumped into action, threw down his backpack, took off his scarf, and soon he & his Joe’s Jeans were hauling some serious buns down the asphalt.

“I don’t care much for the poodle or the monkeys, but in the name of blueberry bran muffins, if you hurt that Chihuahua, me and my Joe’s Jeans will kick your trash!”

He raced after the bulldozer…but how does one stop a bulldozer? A bulldozer is huge! Joe’s Jeans might be more resilient than the D&G Jeans, but they’re not that resilient! A bulldozer would tear them to shreds!

“Hmm….what could stop a bulldozer? A skyscraper? No, too big & too immobile…” he thought as he jumped around 2 old ladies whining about how coffee costs way too much, and 50 cents extra for cream and 60 cents for sugar, and wondering about who in their right mind would ever pay that much money for something they could make themselves. It’s just not right!

“A motor scooter’s mobile! No, that’s too flimsy…man, these Joe’s Jeans are surely holding up well…” he mused as he slammed through 2 men each with a backpack, one with a scarf, the other with a Dr. Seuss hat. One dropped his backpack, the other dropped his sandwich getting mustard & relish all over his scarf.

“What about…hey! That’s a cement truck! I always wanted one of those, even back when I was 5 and I didn’t even know that Joe’s Jeans existed! Imagine what I could do with that…I could make a pool…or maybe…a wall…or…wait, would that stop a bulldozer? Why yes, yes it would!”

And he kicked his Joe’s Jeans into high gear, his scarf flapping in the wind, jumped over 2 puddles, and dashed around 2 taxi cabs. He jumped up, yanked the cement truck driver out of the cab, and planted his Joe’s Jeans covered butt right in the seat.

“Sorry to hork your truck man, but this about a Chihuahua” and he rammed the truck into first and chased after the bulldozer. He promptly plowed through a Lexus, “Aww, man…I didn’t mean to do that,” but with his spirits buoyed up by the knowledge that he was wearing Joe’s Jeans, he was able to keep his eye on the goal. “I’m gonna save you Chihuahua, even if I have to go to jail for it!”

He drove the truck through a red light, the wrong way down a one-way street, to head the bulldozer off at the pass. “Come on Joe’s Jeans, don’t fail me now!” He had to time it just right if he was going to keep the Chihuahua safe. Now? No….now? No….NOW!! He slammed on the accelerator, cut the bulldozer off. But that wasn’t enough. He had to ensure that the maniac would never harm another Chihuahua again.

He jumped out of the truck (his Joe’s Jeans were very flexible. He’d like to see D&G Jeans let him do this,) and swung the cement loader into the bulldozer. “No…please…I’ll repent, I’ll never hurt another Chihuahua again,” the maniac begged!

“I can’t risk that. We must keep the world’s Chihuahuas safe. I’d be unworthy of wearing Joe’s Jeans if I didn’t try my darndest to protect them,” and he turned on the cement truck…filling up the bulldozer with 40 gallons of cement. He didn’t want to kill the maniac, just prevent him from doing anything ever again. “There. All done. The world’s Chihuahua’s are free from harm once more.”
